well @#$%, since just HAD to tag me, I guess I have no choice huh?
...lol just kidding Teara. Kind of.

1. I am an extremely picky eater, and my subconscious has kind of picked up on this. While in recent years I've gotten better, chances are I can't even get something I haven't eaten before near my mouth without gagging unless it's smothered with garlic or is some form of poultry. It only makes sense that Italian and Mediterranean food are my favorites.

2. There is only one kind of person I cannot stand in this world: People who are complete idiots and jerks, yet still think they're the best thing since sliced bread. As a person with self-esteem issues with no delusions of what makes a good person growing up, I know scum when I see it. The fact that they can't, and gloat about it, really gets me boiling.

3. While I consider myself somewhat brave, that does not exactly mean I have "nerves of steel." I startle very easily, and as such can't even play video games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill without jumping a foot in the air and literally screaming. Hell I'm even afraid to enter the vaults in fallout.

4. As anyone who's had a long conversation with me knows, I sort of live in nostalgia. There is not a day where I wish I could see episodes of some of the wonderful 90's/early 2000s cartoons I watched growing up, and when I do, I enjoy them now just as much as I did back in the day. thankfully Looney Tunes are back on cartoon network as of this week, and just yesterday they played an episode of Johnny Bravo for no reason! How crazy awesome is that?

5. I love music. By which I mean I grew up with very worldly parents who loved music of all genres and eras, so there is literally no genre that I cannot enjoy. Except for most rap, which I don't consider music. No offense to people to enjoy rap or rap artists, but in my opinion rap's just a person talking fast with a backbeat. Backbeats that are in fact more often than not taken from real music. It can still be enjoyable, but it shouldn't be called music.

6. While I myself have never had a girlfriend, I have seen my friends around me come and go with relationships of all kinds for years, and as such have observed and learned many tips for what makes a happy couple. For some reason people seem to recognize this as good reason to come to me for relationship advice for reasons that are not quite clear to me. While I don't really mind this, it does somewhat baffle me, as I would expect the normal reaction to be "How could you possibly know what makes a good relationship if you've never had one?" Nonetheless I've been told that my advice creates good results, so go figure.

7. I've been playing video games since I was 5 years old, and since then I've always wanted to be a game designer. So far so good, seeing as how I'm working on the correct major for this college. Now there's just the matter of internship.

8. While I greatly enjoy reading I mostly prefer fictional books, particularly those of high fantasy such as Lord of the Rings or Songs of Fire and Ice. The reason for this is because I consider the plot and characters of a book only as good as the world they live in, and while the real world hasn't exactly been boring, and Sci-Fi creates a lot of planets, they usually can't compare to the effort great fantasy writers put into expansive worlds, their histories, and the people that live in it. This is of course all opinion though, and there are plenty of exceptions to the rule.

9. My favorite animals are cats, because they can be caring and affectionate, but they're also independent and don't need to rely too much on others. Plus I just think they look cool, or cute depending on the breed. Dogs have their own appeal, but the breeds are very hit-and-miss, whereas I like all kinds of cats.

10. As previously mentioned, I come from a worldly family, and from this I love traveling. I've only been to about 11 other countries in my lifetime, but there's a lot more out there and I would find any excuse available to find my way across an ocean to someplace new. A story's only as good as the world it's in after all, and I'd like to make a story that reflects that.

So yeah, there's 10 things about me. I'm pretty sure most of you already know some of these about me, but oh well.
